Geez, when was the last time I was on dA, I can't even remember that. It's almost mind boggling that someone like myself would all but abandon deviantart, art it self! But that's pretty much what I did for a long time, just sat at home doing who knows what (I can't remember)and hardly doodled anything or touched the computer other than reading mangas-- which I can't believe I got hooked onto as well!

Speaking of computers, on my last diviation, I said I'd be back with WIP's (works in progress)? Well, apparently that's now a lie Our main computer, the one ~blodwedd and I have complained about before, had decided to crash. AGAIN! This was around my birthday weekend somewhere in March, and we had just gotten back the internet connection on it a couple of months prier. Thankfully our father worked with IBM/Honeywell/AlliedSignal and knows a lot about computers (he has like, five different computers in his man-cave, although not together ) so he managed to find a recovery program and fished our files out of the evil thing. Little did I know that "files" meant just that and not the programs installed/downloaded.

I have all the files/images that I wanted to upload here, but their format isn't compatible with dA and would need to be converted to a PNG file, my personal favorite to upload with. However, both the programs I used, Corel X and PS Elements, were no longer on the computer and left me with only MS Paint (which is nice in its simplicity but not with converting files ). Of course I could have re-installed them, but no... I had lost BOTH disks and their activation codes to the reaches of shadows that ALWAYS STEALS MY STUFF!!!... *aheam*...

So that caused much angst and I just brooded over the whole thing, getting tick-off with also not finding the codes to re-install the SIMs 2 and play the University that I got from my parents. Then I got addicted to manga and stopped sketching (I also got to play my first real videogame, Kingdom Hearts II, none of that DDR and GH stuff). I was really disheartened. And then, POOF! I started to draw/doodle again, still addicted to mangas (darnnit!), and expanding and rewriting some of the stories that I have.

I have know idea how this all happened and I'm sorry if any of you were worried about me or just kept popping by to see if I updated or whatnot. While I have re-installed most of the SIMs, I haven't found any thing of my art programs. I could suck it up and transfer the files onto my laptop, which still has both Corel and PS on it, but I've never had friendly experiences with the switching between Computer to Laptop. That, and Visa's a pain in the backside when it decides to randomly quiet Corel on me and malfunction on PhotoShop. NEVER GET WINDOW'S VISA! IT WILL EAT YOU ALIVE SOMEDAY!

To make it up to you all who so kindly decided to watch me, I'll try to not be lazy this summer and scan my doodles/sketches from years ago up to today (yeah, I drew something three times this week already! ^__^). No stories. No one but Blodwedd likes them anyways. And don't ask what mangas I read, b/c I WILL ignore you for your sake and my sanity
